Primary 5 have had a wonderful first week back after the Christmas holidays, even though it was a shorter one! With pupils off on Monday and school closed on Tuesday due to snow, we made the most of our three days together.
We began our new WAU topic, “Prove It”, by completing a planning carousel. The children shared lots of thoughtful and interesting questions about what they would like to learn this term – we are excited to explore these ideas together!
In PE, Primary 5 enjoyed team-building games using hula hoops, working together, communicating and having plenty of fun. On Thursday, the class took part in a live lesson with Just2Easy, where they created fantastic winter snow globe animations and even received a shout-out!
We have also been busy learning our 6 times tables this week – a great start to the term!
Well done, Primary 5, for such a positive and enthusiastic return to school. We are looking forward to a brilliant term ahead!
